Almost Done with March?

In high school the month of March means nothing. There are still at least two months of school left and definitely one grading period to go. However, in college, the end of March is a big wake up call. Normally that means there is only one month left.

And for the girls of 503 that is for sure. While Spencer is off doing her thing with Harmon Creek, the rest of us sit here stressed. Kala is a wreck about upcoming graduation and Meg, Chelsea and I have a lot of work. Yet what do we really do, what for the return of all our shows!

I have never watched Gossip Girl until I lived with them, and now, if I walk in and it's on, I sit and watch it - therefore, putting off work. This is the same with One Tree Hill. And they do it with things I watch too.

Back to a question I asked in my first blog - is 6 girls living together really illegal and considered a sorority? I'm thinking not... I am thinking that rule came about a long time ago by teachers who knew that this many girls living together distracts every one of them!

Housing Situations

Living with four other people gets crazy. And of course that is what this blog is about. Well, I genuinely believe it is because we are all good friends. We get annoyed, we get tired of being with each other and we are always around each other.

Spencer and Kala will be graduated next year. Megan must live on campus because of volleyball. So that leaves Chelsea and I to decide what to do. And we have had our problems doing so. She has a job and an apartment back home and doesn't want to pay for two all summer, which makes sense.

So what do we do? Agree to part ways for the year? Or figure something in between? Do you think living with a best friend is a good idea or not? I know these are a lot of questions, but I think Chelsea and I aren't the only two debating this.

Take this poll and let me know if living with your best friend is a good idea!

Sororiety Stress

Our apartment has been quite hectic lately, and I am not so sure that it is in a good way. We have all been moody and it is stemming from many things. I think stress number one is the fact that three roommates are very sick. Stress two is that we have one aspiring singer, one FBI hopeful and one hopeful broadcaster along with two who only somewhat know what they want to do. And that leads to stress number three.. the end of the year is coming which means a lot of work, housing situations and graduation for some.

With all of this put together, its a shaky place in here. It seems as though a bomb could detonate at any time! And to beat it all, our poor families and boyfriends have to deal with it. For the most part, we have turned to our families and spent time at home.

One way I have kept myself semi-sane is looking at F-my-life. The stories people have on the site make me realize that something worse could have happened over my day. Plus, it gives me a much needed laugh.

Another thing that I do is keep up with the news. And this past week, the passing of Natasha Richardson has me upset. Her role in the Parent Trap was my favorite. Now I will be sad when I watch my favorite movie of all time.

Boyfriends Make Me Happy

Don't surprises make everyone happy? Especially when they are something totally unexpected and from someone you like. Well, I know in my room with all of us girls they do.

Kala was happy to find out that her boyfriend was coming down Wednesday to take her home. And Chelsea was actually having a decent time talking to a guy. (Which is a first and maybe won't make her hate Valentine's Day so much!) Megan was on a better track with the guy she likes and Spencer, well she is a little different of a story. Spencer is happy NOT having a guy around! I guess after some bad time that is what happens.

Well, when I got the call that my boyfriend who lives in the great white north was coming down this weekend, I was clearly thrilled. It will have its downfalls though considering he can only stay for not even 24 hours. I'm very gracious he is coming but upset that I can only see him for a short period of time.

Does anyone have advice on how to keep couples happy with each other, especially when they are away from each other? As all of my roommates are in this situation, I think we need it. We all appreciate our men, but we get angry and miss them when they are not here!

Saint Patty's Day Parade

Saint Patty's Day is finally here! Looking out my window it seems like a Sea of Green walking over the bridge. Now this one is going to be quite different than usual. Most of our guy friends aren't here... I have to work at 5 so I will not be celebrating... and I am the only one that is not 21!

I know that shouldn't matter, but walking around a city with a bunch of drunk people isn't fun.

Our apartment is like a clown house. We all have visitors, sleeping on the floor, the couch, Chelsea in her pod. Breakfast this morning was a joke. I guess that still makes it fun. Everyone pitching in whatever food they have and making what they are good at. That is why we are all friends, and roommates.

Happy St. Patty's Day!
Enjoy all the green...

Check back for pictures or a video if my camera works...

How hard is it?

With the end of spring break, all of us came back to school on the same day. Now, it was only a week we were gone... but I swear it seemed like a century!

The first night back none of us could fit food in the cupboards let alone try to unpack. I don't know how we were walking around the room... considering there are things everywhere. Chelsea's laundry is in the kitchen, my suitcase is in the middle of the bedroom and Spencer's stuff is all over the table.

...and to beat it all, we had guests over. Is it appropriate as college students to "be allowed" to leave places like this? Or should we act like adults. Clearly we think different. But let us know.

How can you support us this week?
Spencer bartends all night Thursday at One Ten Lounge while Chelsea and I will be at Town Tavern until 10.

Then of course, come be our friends at the St. Patty's Day Parade! And come to the Royal later that night for a live boxing match that I will be bartending.

Poor Boyfriends

Poor boyfriends. Since this blog is somewhat related to how they deal with us, I must say mine has done very well over the past week! He has walked in and out of four, yes count that 1-2-3-4 malls with me in the span of like six days. All in search of black high heels and a black necklace. Not to mention the Blackberry skins which I still can't find.

Spencer has a different story with men, but I will say she is very strong and being very smart with it. I think I know why. She is more focused on her career because her and Dessa (Harmon Creek) are auditioning today for Can You Duet?

Chelsea also has an audition for The Real World. My broadcasting roommates are apparently trying to make it on the big screen in a different way.

How can you support us:
Wish Chelsea and Spencer good luck and give us all a little encouragement to get back to class Monday!

Canadian Winter

As I told you all before, I'm here in the country north of us and it is FREEZING! I can't believe temperatures were in the negative teens. At least the next few days are supposed to be more reasonable (and remember, its Celsius here!)

Since I am away from my roommates it is kind of hard to say what they are doing. But I do know that by my next blog I will be able to tell you what Spencer and the rest of Harmon Creek is doing in Nashville - I promise this because I will remember to ask her.

On the technological side of things, Blackberry Messenger is the best invention ever. I can finally talk to my boyfriend here in Canada free of charge and Chelsea because now we don't have to worry about text messages.

Does anyone know a good website where I can order Blackberry Pearl skins? My camera goes horizontally and I really want the three pack of white, lime green and pink but I can't find it anywhere in Pittsburgh or here in Canada!
*That's how you can support me this week. Helping me with my problems!*
